DISCUSSION.

Britain’s royal weddings, births, and actions often dominate our news. Why does royalty capture our attention?   

EXAMINATION.

Vv.1-3 Why does God deserve praise?

Vv.4-7 How is God’s fame spread?

Vv.8-20 List all the reasons for praising God mentioned here.

Which one encourages/excites you the most and why?

APPLICATION.

  • How could you become more specific in praising God? 
  • If praising God involves education (v.4), meditation (v.5), and celebration (v.7) what is involved in each of these things?
  • What dangers, if any, do you see in worship that is not based on the greatness (v.3), grace (v.8), and goodness (v.9) of God?
  • Fact: What is a key truth that you understood from this passage?
  • React: What did you feel?
  • Act: What are you going to do?
