Introduction.

Money is one of the most uncomfortable subjects for people to discuss. However, our view of and use of money is an enormously significant spiritual issue. It cannot buy our salvation, but it does reveal our level of discipleship. Through this series, we are reminded how the generous gift of God in Christ calls us to be a generous people.

TEXT: Luke 16:1-15

INTRODUCTION.

Money is one of the most uncomfortable subjects for people to discuss. However, our view of and use of money is an enormously significant spiritual issue. It cannot buy our salvation, but it does reveal our level of discipleship. Through this series, we are reminded how the generous gift of God in Christ calls us to be a generous people.

DISCUSSION.

If someone called you “shrewd” would you take that as a compliment or an insult? Why?

What do you think the “true riches” are?
