INTRODUCTION.

EXAMINATION.

Vv.4-6 In this description of earth, what was lacking?
v.7 What differs about how God formed man as opposed to other living creatures? (1:20-24)
Vv.8-14 Which details stand out to you in this description of Eden?
v.15 What is God’s purpose for putting the man in the garden?

APPLICATION.
  • From this creation account, there are four qualities true of all humans: We are handcrafted, employed, unique, and relational. Which of these is most significant to you and why?
  • How should a perspective of the infinite value of human life shape your treatment of:
        • Your spouse?
        • A refugee?
        • Someone who holds beliefs and values that directly oppose yours?
        • The homeless?
        • Those with physical limitations?
        • Yourself?
  • Fact: What is a key truth that you understood from this passage?
