High School Equip

Welcome to EQUIP, the Student Ministry at Cypress BIble Church. EQUIP's vision is to challenge students to live a life where they are being equipped to disciple and evangelize not only in Cypress, TX, but also the rest of the world. Through training and discipleship, students learn to live a life as commanded by Jesus Christ. Sunday mornings, Wednesday nights, local outreach, and mission trips are the d.n.a. of EQUIP. Young men will learn to live bold lives and fight the passivity that plagues their generation. Young women learn to have an "Abigail" heart by serving God and ignoring what the world is telling them on a daily basis.

By God's grace, our students will live a life of Acts 20:24, where their desire is to live a life that testifies to the Gospel of grace through Jesus Christ. Whether you are home-schooled, public-schooled, or private-schooled, this is your palce. Whether you love sports or video games, this is your place. No matter what your circumstance or situation, there is a place for you here with EQUIP.

High School 242 Discipleship Groups

During the School Year we meet Wednesday nights (beginning September 16, 2020) 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm SLC (Student Life Complex)

Groups are separated by grade and gender.

To protect the health and safety of our students and volunteers, and in adherence with the reopening guidelines, our schedule and procedures have changed just a bit:

  • Drop off will be in the back parking lot (same location as for Engage; map will emailed next week).  Students and leaders will gather outside in the parking lot rather than inside. There will be no food or snacks available for sale.  Students/leaders are encouraged to bring their own water bottles (water fountains are not in use at this time).
  • We are asking that you not drop off your students before 6:15.  Any announcements will be made at 6:30 and Students will be dismissed to their 242 rooms from the parking lot in groups according to grade/gender.
  • We will be adhering to recommended room capacity to allow for proper social distancing, as determined by room size and availability.  Should a group be too large for their designated room, we will move groups around to a larger room. Finally, we are asking that all parents be mindful of the time and promptly pick up your student(s) by 8:30pm.  Our adults can’t leave until the last student is picked up.  We greatly appreciate your effort to be on time.
