BTW Nursing Home Visits Cypress Area

 
 
Scope of Activity: Sing and Share and Visit with residents of local nursing homes. Volunteers do not need to be able to sing, but come just for fellowship. Singing will include well known songs and hymns. Word-sheets will be provided. Singing will last for around 30 minutes followed by a time for visiting with residents.
  
Times: (1 hour each) noon, 1:30pm, 2:30pm, 4pm. 
            (Meet in the Lobby of each facility 15 minutes early).

Number of Volunteers: 8-10 volunteers per nursing home. All Ages Welcome!!

Locations to Sing and Visit:
  • 12:00 p.m.- Grace Care Center of Cypress
     9602 Huffmeister Rd. Houston, TX 77095 (just south of 290)
  • 1:30 p.m.- Emeritus Senior Care Center  near Cy-Fair Hospital  (assisted living section.)
    11500 Fallbrook, Houston, TX 77065 (south of FM1960 and west of Jones Rd)
  • 2:30 p.m.- Emeritus - Memory Care section
    Same as above except we will sing and visit with the Alzheimer’s residents.
  • 4:00 p.m.- Heartland  Health Care Center @ Willowbrook.
