The India trip is TSMAC's most advanced short term trip, building on the "experience" of serving on the Belize trip and sharing your faith and your story, listening and "befriending" others on the New York GO trip. The India trip focuses on students being "immersed" in another culture in a completely different part of the world, building on their previous experiences.
The TSMAC team will partner together with a CBC team to travel to Chennai and partner with the Hindustan Bible Institute (HBI), founded in 1952 for the purpose of training and mobilizing Indian nationals to plant churches among their own people. The India trip focuses on team members being "immersed" in another culture in a completely different part of the world.
The team will focus on outreach to local schools and orphanages using worship, drama, and life skills. Some from the CBC team will be involved in Leadership and Pastoral Training at HBI as well as tech and support help for the school.
