- What is the worship style at CBC?
At CBC, it is our goal to be a place where all can celebrate God in worship. Because there are different people with different preferences that make up the body here at CBC, we offer both traditional and contemporary worship services. Back to Top
- Do I have to audition to serve in the worship ministry?
This really depends upon where you are interested in serving. For our seasonal choir (Christmas, Easter, etc.) there is no audition required. You simply need to be able to carry a tune and have a song in your heart. For seasonal orchestra, you will need to have some training on your instrument. We typically prefer ninth grade and above with at least two years of experience. For band, praise team, and drama there is some initial screening involved. If you are interested in participating in one of these areas, please contact the worship arts office for more information.

- If I sing in the seasonal choir, do I have to sing every service?
As much as we would like to have that consistency, it is really not realistic. If you are able to sing both services when the choir is singing, then we would encourage that. However, if you are involved in another ministry opportunity like, an ABF, small group, or Generations, we want to encourage that as well. Back to Top
- How about the band and orchestra, do they play through all services?
The band and orchestra are a little different than the choir. We do try to maintain the same level of excellence between services, so part of that is maintaining the same instrumentalists. There are typically not as many instrumentalists as vocalists, so at this time we do have the band and orchestra stay for both services. Back to Top
